Whey Protein Powder

What do you look for when trying to choice a Whey Protein Powder? There are three areas you want to consider.

Value

What can the product do for you? Is it in line with your goals? Does the dollar value match the return in investment? Take for example a low quality powder that has a few more carbohydrates than you should be ingesting. That drink may cost a few dollars less, but the return to investment is little or no muscle gain and fatigue. The value is low. Yet there may be a powder that is more in line with what you should be ingesting. It may be a few more dollars than you like to spend. Yet after a week of using it, you notice a significant advantage in stamina and muscle gain. I would rate a powder like this to be high.

Quality

From my standpoint there is nothing more important than the quality of the powder you buy. You will notice a significant difference in muscle growth, recovery and over all well-being. When you invest in yourself, you should never skimp on the quality of the product you put into your body.

Yield

Finally we want to take a look at the yield. You want to make sure the yield of protein in your drink is not higher or lower than the recommended intake suggested by your trainer, doctor or government recommended intake per day.
